01Manifesto · Why We Exist
Human science has long been confined to the circle of the known.DeduceX starts at the circumference and ventures beyond the circle.
Why we existWhy We Exist
For thousands of years, scientific progress has been constrained by the computational limits of the human brain and the physical time required for experimental trial and error.
Today, humanity stands at the boundary of existing knowledge. Fundamental breakthroughs that will shape the future—from new materials and complex biological mechanisms to frontier physics and higher-dimensional mathematics—often lie in scientific territory beyond human intuition and experience.
DeduceX was born from this challenge. We seek to move beyond using AI to interpolate within known data: to extrapolate across dimensions, free people from prolonged blind trial and error, and explore scientific territory that has yet to be named.
Two paradigmsFit vs. Extrapolate
The first generation of AI finds patterns in existing human data. It excels at problems inside the circle but struggles to cross the boundary of that data.
Use AI to move beyond the blind spots of experience, generating hypotheses and testing new principles at frontiers with little or no data.
MissionMission
Build an AI reasoning engine that crosses the boundaries of human experience, explores uncharted science, and accelerates generational advances in fundamental technology.
VisionVision
Become a second scientific brain that expands the reach of human understanding, so that every unknown challenge shaping our future can be reasoned through, tested, and solved.

Locus Engineering Alpha
Let AI take part in research.
We are building an AI research system that can design, execute, and analyze experiments. The first step is its brain: planning, computation, checks, and retained records, with every step visible.

First-Principles Deduction
Reject dependence on familiar paths. Reframe the problem from fundamental mathematical laws and basic axioms.
Venture into the Uncharted
Take on difficult, long-term questions in fundamental research beyond established consensus, and establish new coordinates where there are no signposts.
Rigorous & Verifiable
Scientific exploration has no room for hallucination. Every inference must withstand coherent logical scrutiny and experimental tests in the real world.
Symbiotic Discovery
AI does not replace scientists. It gives explorers a telescope and a navigation instrument to see patterns in higher dimensions.
